What’s it all about?
The Rayside-Balfour Youth Centre provides a safe, supervised space where youth ages 10–17 can connect with friends, explore new interests, and take part in fun activities all year round. It’s a welcoming place to hang out, get involved, and be part of the community.
Our friendly, trained staff are available to listen, offer support, and connect youth with community resources when needed.

We believe the best Youth Centre is one that listens to the young people who use it.
That’s why youth are encouraged to share ideas, suggest new programs and activities, get involved in events and help shape what’s happening at the Centre.
Because this isn’t just a Youth Centre for our community’s young people.
It’s THEIR Youth Centre.
The Rayside-Balfour Youth Centre is a stand-alone, Board-governed organization. Our Board works diligently to build and maintain strong relationships with community members, local businesses, the City of Greater Sudbury, funding partners, law enforcement, schools, service clubs, and other community organizations.
While the Centre is grateful to receive funding from the City of Greater Sudbury to help offset a portion of staff wages, fundraising remains essential to our continued operation. The Board is committed to securing additional funding through initiatives such as our annual golf tournament, raffles, and participation in the volunteer program at Delta Bingo & Gaming.
These fundraising efforts, along with the generous support of our community, help us continue providing a safe, welcoming and engaging space for local youth.
